Agreement
By using bigdawgshalal.com or placing an order with Big Dawg's Halal ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or services.
Our Service
Big Dawg's Halal is a preorder-based halal ghost kitchen in Chicago, Illinois. We offer scheduled pickup and delivery during open order windows. Orders are only accepted through our website during active ordering periods.
Placing Orders
- All orders are prepaid through Stripe at the time of checkout.
- Orders are only accepted during open order windows — you will not be able to place an order outside of these windows.
- Once an order is confirmed and paid, it is binding. Please review your order carefully before submitting.
- Pickup times and delivery windows are set by us and communicated at checkout. Late pickups may result in order forfeiture without refund.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in USD. Prices may change between order windows. The price you pay at checkout is final for that order.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
A delivery fee may apply depending on the order window. Delivery fees are displayed clearly before checkout.
Refunds & Cancellations
Because our food is prepared fresh in limited batches, our refund policy is strict:
- Order cancellations: Must be requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery window. Email us at orders@bigdawgshalal.com to request a cancellation.
- No-shows: If you do not pick up your order during the pickup window with no prior notice, you forfeit your order and are not entitled to a refund.
- Quality issues: If your food arrives incorrect or with a quality problem, contact us within 2 hours of receiving your order and we will make it right.
- Refund processing: Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Pickup & Delivery
- Pickup location and instructions are provided in your order confirmation.
- Delivery is only available where offered for a given order window. Delivery availability may vary.
- We are not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
Allergens & Dietary Information
Our food is prepared in a shared kitchen environment. While all our menu items are halal, we cannot guarantee our kitchen is free from allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, or eggs. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.
Halal certification is maintained by our sourcing practices. We use halal-certified meats and follow halal food handling standards.
SMS Communications
If you opt into SMS updates, you agree to receive text messages about order confirmations and promotions from Big Dawg's Halal. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Acceptable Use
You may not use our site or services to:
- Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment methods
- Interfere with or disrupt our website or ordering systems
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
We reserve the right to cancel orders and ban accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual Property
All content on bigdawgshalal.com — including our name, logo, branding, photos, and copy — belongs to Big Dawg's Halal. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Dawg's Halal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
